St Joseph’s is a state-integrated, co-educational Catholic primary school proudly located in Port Chalmers with a history dating back to 1882.  For over 125 years St Joseph’s has helped generations of children to reach their potential – and we’re still doing it.   

Our goal is to prepare children for the challenges that life brings and to empower them as confident and knowledgeable young people with a strong sense of their own identity. 

We don’t have a one size fits all approach.  Instead we take time to get to know every child individually and develop strategies to ensure their continued success.
